Emma Thompson, Ruth Wilson to star in Mick Herron drama for Apple TV+

Emma Thompson, Ruth WilsonRuth Wilson and Emma Thompson will star in Down Cemetery Road, based on the book by Slow Horses author Mick Herron, for Apple TV+. 
 

When a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl disappears in the aftermath, neighbour Sarah Tucker (Wilson) becomes obsessed with finding her and enlists the help of private investigator Zoë Boehm (Thompson).

 

Zoë and Sarah suddenly find themselves in a complex conspiracy that reveals that people long believed dead are still among the living, while the living are fast joining the dead.


Morwenna Banks, who also pens Slow Horses, is lead writer, and exec produces alongside Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta and Tom Nash for 60Forty Films, Thompson and Herron. Natalie Bailey is lead director.

60Forty is currently preparing to shoot the second series of the Idris Elba-starrer Hijack, also for Apple TV+.
