Filming wraps on The Secret Garden
Principal photography has now wrapped on The Secret Garden starring Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Maeve Dermody.
The Heyday Films feature began shooting at Pinewood in late April with Marc Munden (Electric Dreams, National Treasure) at the helm. The screenplay is by prolific screenwriter Jack Thorne.
Frances Hodgson Burnett wrote the book upon which the film is based. First published in 1911, it centres on a young girl who is sent to live with her uncle after being orphaned by a cholera epidemic.
Heyday Films is working on a busy slate with the third films in two hugely successful franchises - Fantastic Beasts and Paddington - both in development.
David Heyman founded Heyday in 1996 with the company soon becoming best-known for the Harry Potter series of films.
