Disneyʼs ABC TV On Demand hires Fold7 for on-air promos
Disney has appointed Fold7 to create advertising for ABC TV On Demand, the subscription on-demand service for ABC Studio shows.
Fold7 won the business in a four-way competitive pitch.
The appointment comes as the company seeks to more widely promote the ABC TV On Demand service and its unique program content in key markets and across
multiple platforms. Within the UK, ABC TV On Demand is currently on BTVision, Lovefilm and TalkTalk; in EMEA, the service is currently available on 13 platforms
across 11 different countries.
Fold7 will create a series of on-air promos for ABC Studio shows, which include Lost and Ugly Betty.
The first work will break on December 1, with a 60†ad to promote ABCʼs season of Christmas comedies including Reaper, My Wife & Kids, According to Jim and Scrubs.
