A 13-week shoot in the West Midlands has wrapped on the series adaptation of Richard Coles’ Murder Before Evensong.

Produced by The Lighthouse Film and Television in association with Channel 5 and AMC Networks’ Acorn TV, the six-part drama had been filming around the West Midlands since January; Dudley and Stourbridge were among the locations used for the series, according to local news outlets. The West Midlands Production Fund supported the production.

The drama is adapted by Nick Hicks-Beach and directed by David Moore. Executive producers are Richard Coles and Radford Neville for The Lighthouse, Catherine Mackin and Don Klees for Acorn TV/Acorn Media Enterprises and Paul Testar for Channel 5.

Matthew Lewis stars as Canon Daniel Clement, who becomes involved in a murder investigation in his parish, alongside a cast that includes Amanda Redman, Amit Shah, and Tamzin Outhwaite.
