MobLand renewed for series three by Paramount+

Helen Mirren, Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan all set to return

Paramount+ has ordered a third series of crime drama MobLand, with its stars Helen Mirren, Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan all set to return.

The recommission comes ahead of the second series premiere on Friday 18 September.

Created and written by Ronan Bennett (Top Boy, The Day of the Jackal, Army of Shadows), and produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the third series will follow the Harrigan family’s continued fight for power.

Hardy’s fixer character Harry da Souza will once again work alongside Brosnan and Mirren as the family patriarch and matriarch Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.

The 10-part second series focuses on the family’s struggle to show a unified front as rivals threaten their criminal empire. The cast of series two also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.

MobLand is exec produced by David C. Glasser, Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Hardy, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari and Keith Cox.

New episodes of the second series will be available to stream weekly on Fridays.
