Filming wraps on Doctor Strange
Filming has wrapped on the UK-based shoot for Marvel”s behemoth Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
Director Scott Derrickson confirmed the end-of-shoot news on Twitter as filming wound up in New York City over the weekend.
For the last four months, the film has had its production base at Longcross Studios here in the UK, but has also taken in far-flung locations such as Kathmandu and Hong Kong.

Sherlock shoots for four months, after which the actor will be busy preparing The War Magician, in which he stars as Jasper Maskelyne, a world-famous magician whose ingenious illusions aided the Allied fight against the Nazis during the Second World War.
The feature comes from SunnyMarch, the production company founded by Cumberbatch along with Adam Ackland, Adam Selves and Ben Dillon a few years ago.
The French production and distribution giant StudioCanal announced today (4 April) that it is investing in Sunnymarch to the tune of a 20% share as part of its drive to raise TV revenues while working with more European indies; a distribution deal is included in the package.
StudioCanal is also taking a 20% stake in Urban Myth Films, the shingle founded by Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy, currently busy preparing to film Crazy Face, a black comedy horror for Netflix and Channel 4.
