Filming has begun in Ramsgate on the second series of BBC Three comedy Things You Should Have Done.

Lucia Keskin writes and stars in the show, that is produced by Roughcut Television. The 6 x 30’ run was commissioned by BBC director of comedy Jon Petrie; the producer is Steve Monger and the director is Jack Clough. Ash Atalla and Alex Smith executive produce.

The second run revisits the life of self-confessed ‘stay at home daughter’ Chi (Keskin) as she is once again forced to contend with life and death; the dysfunctional family’s must attempt to navigate the fallout, including dealing with an unhinged and unprofessional grief counsellor, Ruth (Bridget Christie).

Christie says: “I’ve always wanted to play a bisexual therapist in a Lucia Keskin TV show that films near the sea. Living the dream folks. Living the dream.”

The series won Best Comedy Programme at the 2024 Broadcast Digital Awards and Best Scripted Comedy at the 2025 RTS Awards. Keskin is also nominated for the Emerging Talent: Fiction Award at this year’s BAFTA TV Craft Awards.
