Bryan Cranston ready to film The Infiltrator in UK
Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is currently preparing to shoot his starring role in The Infiltrator, which begins production in early March, co-starring Diane Kruger.
The thriller is based on the autobiography by Robert Mazur (Cranston), a customs and excise agent who went undercover to investigate drug cartels. As the glamorous, mob-connected Bob Musella, he befriended some of the most dangerous criminals in the hierarchy, secretly recording their meetings before blowing the whole thing out of the water at a staged wedding.
Director Brad Furman (Runner Runner, The Lincoln Lawyer) is calling the shots from a screenplay by Ellen Brown Furman. Miriam Segal of UK-based Good Films produces, with filming due to start in the UK from the first week of March. The eight week shoot will also take place in Paris and Florida.
