Broadcast Summit 2026 full programme revealed
Senior executives from BBC, ITV, C4, 5, Netflix, Prime Video, Expectation and Sid Gentle among speakers at flagship event
Broadcast has unveiled its full programme for next week’s Broadcast Summit, with sessions spanning commissioning, programming genres, distribution, development and AI on the agenda.
More than 40 senior industry execs will offer their insights under one roof, with Firecrest Films’ Nicole Kleeman, Clapperboard Studios’ Mike Benson, Love Monday’s Kerene Barefield and Creation Content’s Larry Walford kicking things off with the State of the Nation.
The Big Docs Debate will see Netflix and BBC commissioners Adam Hawkins and Emma Loach, share the stage with 72 Films’ Mark Raphael, Fatima Salaria from Dancing Ledge Productions and The Garden’s Nicola Brown.
Netflix’s recently installed director of unscripted Syeda Irtizaali will take part in the All Eyes on Entertainment panel, alongside ITV’s director of entertainment, reality and daytime Katie Rawcliffe, Amazon Prime Video’s senior creative executive of formats Cat Lynch, Mettlemouse’ founder Sarah Tyekiff and Boldprint Studios’ Phil Harris.
Comedians Dara Ó Briain, Roisin Conaty and Ed Gamble will join WBD’s Charlotte Reid in a special session unpacking TLC’s recent focus on comedy.
The day will be rounded off by Industry Question Time debate, back by popular demand, featuring Expectation, Bad Wolf, Wonderhood Studios, Skin In The Game Studios and CPL Productions.
Elsewhere, the Summit will have sessions covering current trends in TV such as AI, challenges/opportunities that could help shape your next commission and deep dives on development and distribution.
It will provide delegates with a unique opportunity to hear and connect with global streamers, leading broadcasters & indie powerhouses, with a networking drinks reception.
