Can’t Sell, Must Sell to return for second run

South Shore property show for Channel 4 recommissioned for enhanced second series

South Shore is prepping an extended second run of its property show Can’t Sell, Must Sell for Channel 4.

The 8 x 60-minute series sees siblings Scarlette and Stuart Douglas return to help homeowners across the UK sell their seemingly unsellable properties. The pair will lend their practical expertise, creative solutions and elbow grease to assist the sellers in solving problems ranging from eye-watering carpets and years of clutter to tired decor and questionable layouts.

The show was recommissioned by Clemency Green, senior commissioning editor, and is produced by South Shore and Motion Entertainment.

It will be made out of South Shore’s Cardiff office with Sam Grace exec producing, alongside Martin Oxley for Motion, and Claire Nosworthy serving as series editor.

The debut six-part series aired weekly from July, and consolidated to 1.1m (8.3%) across 28 days, according to Barb data supplied by overnights.tv.

Green said: “Scarlette and Stuart bring warmth, credibility and real hands‑on expertise to a property market that many homeowners are finding incredibly challenging. The first series offered a fresh and entertaining take on the genre, and this new run promises even more practical solutions, bold transformations and genuinely life‑changing outcomes for those struggling to sell.”

Grace, head of South Shore Wales, added: “This is another great opportunity for South Shore Wales as we continue to strengthen our Cardiff production base.”
