Guy Ritchie films Wife & Dog in UK with Benedict Cumberbatch
The starry cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Rosamund Pike, James Norton and Paddy Considine
Filming is underway in the UK on Guy Ritchie’s Wife & Dog starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Hopkins and Rosamund Pike.
Ritchie is calling the shots from his own screenplay, directing a stellar cast that includes James Norton, Cosmo Jarvis, Paddy Considine (pictured left, courtesy of Black Bear) and Pip Torrens.
The film sees a return for Ritchie to the flamboyant, back-stabbing world of the British aristocracy that he visited in The Gentlemen. He also produces alongside long-time producing partner Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear’s John Friedberg.
Executive producers include Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler for Black Bear, as well as Louise Killin.
The film marks the company’s third collaboration with Ritchie and Atkinson following The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and In the Grey.
