The Flash sets up UK shoot
Much-anticipated feature The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, is now in pre-production in the UK readying to shoot next year.
Andy Muschietti is in the director’s chair for the Warner/DC film, calling the shots from a screenplay by Christina Hodson, with Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco producing. The Flash is based on the DC comic book character that first appeared on the big screen in Justice League in 2017.

The film has had several iterations to make it to the big screen, including several changes of director, and Ezra Miller’s availability also changed as filming was delayed on the third Fantastic Beasts film, in which he plays Credence Barebone.
The Flash is scheduled for release in November 2022. It was recently reported that Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are both due to appear in the film as Batman, possibly linked to a time-travelling trope in the screenplay.
