Filming on the third series of critically acclaimed thriller The Fall is set to begin next month, with shooting once again taking place in Belfast.  

The taut psychological drama is written by Allan Cubitt, who will also direct the forthcoming run; the previous series centred on Gillian Anderson’s Superintendent Stella Gibson’s hunt for serial killer Paul Spector, and the claustrophobic cat-and-mouse search that keeps intensifying.

The BAFTA-winning series is produced by Artists Studio with support from Northern Ireland Screen; the executive producers on series three include Anderson, Cubitt, Patrick Irwin, Stephen Wright and Justin Glover.
