Spider-Man sequel to film in the UK
The as-yet-untitled sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming is in the early stages of setting up a UK shoot.
The feature is the third Marvel film to star Tom Holland as the web-slinging superhero and, as with Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, will be directed by Jon Watts.
In 2015 a deal was reached between Sony and Marvel Studios whereby the character rights became shared and Spider-Man was duly immersed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Little else is known about the follow-up film as it is still early days.

Inward investment continues to make a major impact on the revenue provided by the creative industries. Last year the BFI published stats revealing that of the total film production spend of £1.8bn during the first nine months of 2017, a hefty £1.6bn came from inward investment features.
