Shooting starts just after Easter on Me Before You, a new feature starring Sam Claflin, Emilia Clarke, Vanessa Kirby and Stephen Peacock.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Jojo Moyes, who has also written the screenplay along with Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. It centres on a bored small-town girl (Clarke) who forms an unexpected bond with her new employer; he has recently been paralysed in an accident.

Sue Baden-Powell and Karen Rosenfelt are the producers behind the feature, which comes from MGM and New Line Cinema.

Renowned theatre director Thea Sharrock is at the helm; her previous TV credits include the BBC’s The Hollow Crown in which she directed Tom Hiddleston in Henry V.
