Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner is set to star alongside Jacob Fortune-Lloyd and Archie Madekwe in a new Prime Video series, Haven (w/t).

One Day prodco Drama Republic is making the series with crime novelist S A Nikias writing (his series debut) and Sam Miller directing the first three episodes; the latter also exec produces.

The high-octane thriller centres on an ordinary office worker (Turner), who finds herself at the mercy of violent thieves who break into Lochmill Capital’s office and try to steal billions from people’s pensions.

Drama Republic’s Rebecca de Souza said: “When we asked first-time tv screenwriter Sotiris Nikias if he’d like to have a go at writing a thriller we were astonished by the results. His rollercoasting, nail-biting and funny scripts have quite rightly attracted a tremendous cast and top-tier creative team. We couldn’t be more delighted.”
