The Pentland Group’s former London HQ is to become a film and TV location with production support space.

Known as The Lakeside Campus, the North Finchley site is now represented by Location Collective, as the latest in its growing portfolio of adaptable filming spaces.

The newly-vacant facility comprises: two main buildings surrounding a lake, a modern office block with a glass boathouse area that extends onto the water, and a 1970s-style tower block.

The multi-level layout can double for an educational campus, a large corporate HQ, an airport concourse, shopping centre, police station or hospital.

There is also parking for nearly 300 cars plus additional areas of hardstanding for crew and unit bases.

Antony Iredale, founder, Location Collective said: “We are thrilled to represent this incredible property which offers a unique and versatile site in the heart of London for filmmakers and production teams.”

Andy Long, director at Pentland Group (a majority shareholder of JD Sports) commented: “Pentland Group are delighted to be working exclusively with the Location Collective team, renowned experts in sourcing and facilitating filming opportunities.

“This partnership gives our former HQ building a second life as a vibrant hub for film and TV production. With one TV production hire already secured, we’re excited to see what further opportunities this collaboration will bring.”

Location Collective last year announced its partnership with Battersea Power Station, managing location filming at the iconic edifice.
