Jeremy Clarkson confirms return of Prime show
Clarkson shared the news on social media in a video at Diddly Squat Farm
In a video shared to Prime’s socials, Jeremy Clarkson used Bonfire Night to announce the recommission of Clarkson’s Farm, as he stood in front of a huge figure ‘5’ lit up in the sky at Diddly Squat Farm.
Clarkson said: “Over the years, bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements – the birth of baby Jesus, for example. But tonight, they’re being used to make an announcement that’s even bigger than that. Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm is coming.”
Amazon commissioned a series 4 of the hit show last year, which is expected to drop on the streamer in 2025. Launched in 2021 and produced by Expectation, Clarkson’s Farm follows the journalist and media personality as he attempts to run his own 1,000-acre farm, assisted by his partner Lisa and a crew who have now become famous in their own right, including Kaleb Cooper, Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper.
Cooper went on to do a live theatre show called The World According to Kaleb Cooper, which has been filmed for transmission on Prime Video and is also produced by Expectation.
Clarkson’s Farm is one of Prime’s flagship shows, with consistently high ratings. Viewing figures showed that the first episode of Series 3, that dropped in May this year, was streamed by more than five million viewers over seven days, making it the most-streamed show on Amazon Prime in the UK.
