Gadot plays a high-powered lawyer desperate to save her son

Gal Gadot is filming action thriller The Runner in London for Amazon MGM Studios.

Kevin Macdonald directs the feature, calling the shots from Mark Gibson’s screenplay; it is produced by David Kosse for Rockwood Pictures.

The story reportedly centres on a high-flying attorney (Gadot) who has to race through London to try to save her abducted son.

The actor-producer has recently finished work on the super-starry feature In the Hand of Dante, directed by Julian Schnabel and with a cast including Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Gerard Butler, Franco Nero, Al Pacino, John Malkovich, and Sabrina Impacciatore.

Gadot is also lining up to play Polish nurse Irena Sendler, in a film about Sendler’s involvement with the Resistance during WWII in German-occupied Warsaw; the feature is one of many on the development slate at Gadot’s Pilot Wave Motion Pictures, run with her husband Jason Varsano.
