Awards ceremony takes place during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on May 18

Today (March 20) is the final day to enter Screen International’s Global Production Awards, with the extended entry deadline ending at midnight.

The Global Production Awards, in association with Screen Global Production and Broadcast, celebrates outstanding and sustainable work from the world of film and TV production, locations and studios around the globe.

The Awards’ simple entry process means that there is still plenty of time submit your entry.

The 2026 categories for the Global Production Awards are:

  • Sustainability initiative
  • Sustainable production award (film)
  • Sustainable production award (TV)
  • City of film
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion award
  • Economic and social impact award
  • Emerging location
  • Film commission of the year (city/region)
  • Film commission of the year (country)
  • Impact leadership award
  • Innovation award
  • Location of the year (natural)
  • Location of the year (site/man-made)
  • Outstanding use of locations
  • Studio of the year

Each entry will be reviewed by a high-profile line-up of judges, ahead of an awards ceremony taking place during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on May 18.
