Prime Video thriller Malice wraps London/Greece shoot

David Duchovny, Jack Whitehall and Carice van Houten have wrapped filming Amazon Prime series Malice in London and Greece.

Rev creator James Wood penned the 6 x 50’ psychological thriller that centres on Whitehall’s Adam Healey, a charming male nanny who infiltrates the rich, brash Tanner family, to destroy them.

Malice is a co-production between Expectation and Tailspin Films. Mike Barker and Leonora Lonsdale direct; Georgina Lowe is series producer and Amy Hubbard is casting director. The executive producers for Tim Hincks for Expectation, Imogen Cooper for Tailspin and James Wood.

Whitehall said: “What an incredible 18 weeks it’s been – from shooting in London in February to ending in 37-degree heat in Paros, the whole shoot has been an amazing experience and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved.

“I feel so lucky to have been able to go to work everyday with so many insanely talented people on this job. I can’t wait for you to see the end result when it launches worldwide next year on Prime Video!”

Executive producer Hincks added: “I’m absolutely thrilled we’ve made this extraordinary drama with Prime Video. James Wood has written a brilliant, dark and delicious script and the casting of David Duchovny, Carice van Houten and Jack Whitehall promises to make Malice unmissable.”
