Filming gets underway on final episode of Prime’s Good Omens

Good Omens’ feature-length, finale episode is filming at a Scottish studio

Filming begins this week (w/c 20 January) on the final, feature-length episode of Good Omens for Amazon Prime.

The one-off finale replaces the previously-planned third series, with filming taking place at Pyramids Studios, Scotland; the facility has previously hosted projects including The Outlaw King and T2 Trainspotting.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant, who play the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, respectively, return for the 90-minute film, produced by Amazon MGM Studios ,BBC Studios Productions and Narritivia.

At the time of the news announcement, it was reported that Neil Gaiman, while having contributed to the writing of the series finale, would not be working on the production.

Good Omens is based on the novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett and Gaiman.
