Filming begins on Monday, 17 June, on a Netflix adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials Mystery starring Mia McKenna-Bruce.

Adapted by seasoned screenwriter Chris Chibnall, the story is set in 1925, where a practical joke at a lavish country house party appears to go horribly, murderously wrong. McKenna-Bruce plays Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent, an unlikely sleuth who uncovers a deadline plot… Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman are among the cast.

McKenna-Bruce said “Chris Chibnall’s scripts are brilliant, and I am thrilled to be part of this new interpretation of the iconic Agatha Christie’s storytelling.”

The Seven Dials Mystery is executive produced by The Crown exec producer Suzanne Mackie through her company Orchid Pictures – the company’s first series to enter production – along with Chris Sussman, Andy Stebbing, writer Chibnall for his company Imaginary Friends and James Prichard of Agatha Christie Ltd.

Joanna Crow is series producer; Chris Sweeney directs.
