Eastbrook Studios sets community focus

The studios can accommodate large-scale, inward investment projects while maintaining a focus on local community
Eastbrook Studios in Dagenham is now open for business and, although it is purpose-built to accommodate large-scale films and HETV projects from all over the world, also has the local community high on the agenda.
At a familiarisation tour last week, the Eastbrook team emphasised the amount of work that has already been done to encourage local schoolchildren to learn about a career in production, including hands-on demos of equipment. Four apprentice lighting technicians are also starting their careers at MBS Equipment Co.
Eastbrook is collaborating with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and the local film office on these ongoing educational schemes.

Created by film and television facilities specialists The MBS Group and Hackman Capital Partners, Eastbrook Studios sits on a 21.5 acre campus in Dagenham.
It has 12 sound stages, ranging in size from16,000 sq ft to 32, 000 sq ft. In-house lighting services are provided via MBS Equipment Company; props via ISS and video solutions via VSS.
Close to a District Line station, Eastbrook has a BREEAM rating of Excellent.
