Canon 5D delivers the money shot
For all you camera lovers out there who like to know which piece of kit was used to shoot which TV show, film or commercial, you might be interested to know that the Canon 5D was the camera of choice for Nationwide’s latest advert.
The filmmakers used the camera to shoot time-lapse footage and single long exposure shots of everyday life, from getting ready to go to work to taking the kids to the park.
Entitled People and created by 18 Feet and Rising, the spot was shot in Manchester and Wales over six days and used multiple cameras. The stylised film was cut by The Play Room’s founder and editor Adam Spivey; HLA’s Simon Ratigan directed.
