Bristol-based Bristol Television and Film Services (BTFS) and Sunbelt Rentals Ltd have signed a collaboration agreement to provide rental products and services to the film, TV and events industries.

BTFS has been providing facilities support for more than 40 years and is currently advanced in its commitment to offering sustainable facilities services and targeting net zero on location and studio supported productions.

Brian Baker, chairman and MD of BTFS, said: “We are the oldest and privately owned TV and Film facilities business in the UK and have been innovators in supporting multiple household name productions for over 40 years.

“Over the years we’ve been proud of the standards of service we’ve provided as well as our state-of-the-art equipment which is used on locations. We are delighted that, having completed in-depth research of all the companies working in the industry, Sunbelt Rentals have chosen to collaborate with BTFS and our team currently based here in Bristol.”

Sunbelt Rentals has considerable experience of working on large-scale, blockbuster productions and has a fleet of equipment worth more than £1bn. The company has acquired five well-known media-production brands including PKE Lighting, Movietech, Media Access Solutions, Alpha Grip and Acorn.
