Broadcast Summit 2025: high-profile speakers confirmed

Anne Mensah, Phil Edgar-Jones and Richard McKerrow are among the latest line-up
With just days to go until this year’s Broadcast Summit, we bring you a round-up of some of the high-profile names due to appear at the event.
The summit is on 2 April, at 1 Wimpole Street in London. It will see indies reveal how they have weathered the commissioning slowdown, broadened their horizons and outline the challenge of reaching young audiences.
Netflix’s VP of content for UK & Ireland Anne Mensah, Sky’s executive director of unscripted originals Phil Edgar-Jones and the founder and former chief executive of Love Productions Richard McKerrow will join Banijay UK boss Patrick Holland and UKTV commissioning chief Hilary Rosen to take part in an Industry Question Time panel.
Other programme highlights include drama commissioners Gwawr Lloyd (Channel 4), Helen Perry (UKTV) and John Farrar (SVP Group editorial & content, BritBox) discussing the challenges and opportunities of the genre. From co-productions to high-cost low-budget and other funding models, hear how to get your idea on screens.
Amie Parker-Williams, director of digital commissioning & production at MTV & Comedy Central, Nasfim Haque, BBC3 head of content and Sacha Khari, head of digital commissioning at Channel 4 take part in a In Pursuit of the Young Audience session, discussing how they get (and keep) the under 25’s watching.
Elsewhere, LTX Studio is redefining how creatives visualize, plan, and pitch their projects—turning ideas into fully realized storyboards and AI-powered video in minutes. In a How AI Can Elevate Your Storytelling session, LTX sales team lead Ian Samuel will unveil the groundbreaking features that make production dramatically faster and more dynamic, explore real-world use cases, and share what’s next for AI in filmmaking. Whether you’re a director, producer, or creative agency, this is your chance to see how AI can elevate your workflow and storytelling process.

Attendees will also hear from commissioners across drama, documentaries, lifestyle and young audiences, and have the chance to book 1-2-1 meetings from broadcasters and streamers including UKTV, ITV, BritBox and Disney.
The event takes place shortly after the release of the Broadcast Indie Survey 2025 and the findings from the survey will be among the topics for discussion in the State of the Indie Nation panel.
