Bond 24 gets its title: Spectre
Well, it’s here. The title for Bond 24 has been revealed, and it’s Spectre
It has come as a huge relief to us here at The Knowledge HQ, as we have been suffering from Big Budget Blockbuster Build-Up Suspense Syndrome.
We’d only just got over the teaser trailer for Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens and now we can finally relax knowing the name of the latest outing for the superspy. ÂÂ
The announcement came during a live press conference from the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios, with not just the title being announced but also some major cast reveals – all part of the build-up as principal photography begins Monday 7 December.ÂÂ
The cast revealed some surprises and some expected names. Aside from Naomie Harris, Daniel Craig and Ben Whishaw, director Sam Mendes announced Christoph Waltz was indeed cast, and so are Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott. Another star would be the shiny new Aston Martin DB10.
As is the tradition with Bond films, the worldwide locations are bound to be exotic and plentiful with Rome’s legendary Cinecitta Studios already lined up as a definite destination. Austria, Morocco and Mexico are also in the mix.
So, we’ll get to see Spectre when it opens in the UK on 23 October 2015.

(Although we still prefer our own suggestion, La Bella Morte – Barbara Broccoli, you are most welcome).
