After the Flood S2 begins Manchester and Derbyshire shoot

The first series used the Derbyshire market town of Glossop to play the fictional Yorkshire town of Waterside.
Shooting gets underway today, 10 March, on the second series of After the Flood, made by Quay Street Productions with BritBox International as co-production partners.
Filming returns to Greater Manchester and Derbyshire, with returning cast including Sophie Rundle, Nicholas Gleaves, Lorraine Ashbourne, Philip Glenister, Matt Stokoe and Faye McKeever.

After The Flood was recommissioned by ITV’s director of drama, Polly Hill, and drama commissioner Huw Kennair-Jones; the latter will oversee the production of the drama on behalf of ITV.
Fiona McAllister is producer and Azhur Saleem returns to direct episodes 1-3 with Tom McKay on board to helm episodes 4-6.
Executive producers for Quay Street Productions are Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee, director Saleem and Rundle. Kennair-Jones is executive producer for ITV and Robert Schildhouse and Stephen Nye for BritBox International.
Writer Ford is the creator, lead writer and executive producer alongside series co-writers Joe Forrest and Maxine Alderton.
Series One filmed in various locations in Derbyshire and Greater Manchester. The Derbyshire market town of Glossop ‘played’ Waterside in the series, with a former NatWest bank building used for exteriors of Waterside Police Station.
