Jackie Chan readies to film in London
Jackie Chan is heading to London for his next film, The Foreigner, with pre-production already underway.
The Hong Kong-born multi-hyphenate stars in the feature, which is based on Stephen Leather’s book The Chinaman. Seasoned action thriller director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) is at the helm working from David Marconi’s screenplay.
Chan’s career spans five decades: a martial artist, actor, director, producer, stuntman and singer, he has appeared in over 150 films and won a plethora of gongs.
The artist is also a recognised philanthropist, having established the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation in 1988, he went on to set up the Dragon’s Heart Foundation in 2005.
