David Beckham and actor/comedian Kevin Hart star in a comedic commercial campaign for Swedish retailer H&M.

The seven-minute short film, created by London-based agency adam&eveDDB; and directed by Sonny London founder Fredrik Bond – who also shot the well-received Bootylicious spot for Money SuperMarket – was filmed at CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper’s Greenwich Village pad in New York City.

The film shows Beckham receiving a call from his agent about Hart wanting to play him in a biopic called I, Beckham to which he reluctantly agrees.

Hilarity ensues as Hart tries to study and mimic Beckham for the role, plunging into ice baths with the ex-footballer and even filming him sleeping.

The global campaign, spanning print, outdoor, TV and cinema, will promote H&M’s Modern Essentials.
