The latest TV offering from Foyle’s War scribe Anthony Horowitz, New Blood, is on course to begin shooting in late August on locations in east London.

The 7 x 60 crime drama will follow a pair of junior investigators, Stefan and Rash, who end up working together on two seemingly unrelated cases. Just starting out in their careers, the pair have difficult personal issues to contend with as they try to make their mark in the crime-solving world. 

New Blood reunites Horowitz with Foyle’s War executive producer Jill Green and her team at Eleventh Hour Films; since the company was founded in 2010 it has also produced the psychological thriller Safe House for ITV and the second series of Vexed starring Toby Stephens.
