Having recently seen ‘The Woman in Black” become the most successful British horror film of the last twenty years, Hammer Film Productions are pushing forward with their next feature: ‘The Quiet Ones”.

Established in 1934, the company”s series of gothic ‘Hammer Horror” films have long been recognised around the world as a seminal brand, dominating the genre.

As with ‘The Woman in Black”, ‘The Quiet Ones” will be based at Pinewood – preproduction gets underway mid April, with an eye to shooting early-mid June.

Allegedly based on real life events, it centres on a maverick professor and his students, who embark on an experiment to create a poltergeist, with terrifying consequences. John Pogue directs from his own screenplay.
