Channel 4 Unveils Strong Musical Schedule
This week, Channel 4Â unveiled plans for a strong line up of pre-Christmas music specials; featuring acts such as Ed Sheeran, Florence + The Machine, JLS, Olly Murs, Snow Patrol and The Saturdays.
Sheeran performs his debut album ‘+’;, in Ed Sheeran Live at Shepherds Bush Empire. Also recorded live is Florence + The Machine: The Ceremonial Live from Hackney Empire. There are also Album Chart Show specials for Murs, JLS and The Saturdays.
During November, C4 will air Professor Green Unseen; a reality series featuring the rapper as he builds up to the release of his second album. There”s also SBTV: From Bedroom to Boardroom, a series charting the rise of online youth broadcaster SBTV; and InputOutput, a new music series hosted by Mighty Boosh star Rich Fulcher, will feature two up and coming bands each week from December.
Live from Abbey Road returns for a new series. Also returning is T4 Stars of 2011, a music event hosted at London’;s Earls Court. In addition, A Very Cee Lo Christmas (w/t) is a one-off filmed in the UK.
