DC’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow shoots in the UK with Jason Momoa, Milly Alcock
Jason Momoa stars as Lobo alongside Milly Alcock as Supergirl
Jason Momoa is filming DC and Warner Bros.’ Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow in the UK this week (w/c 13 January), starring Milly Alcock in the title role.
House of the Dragon’s Milly Alcock plays the eponymous Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl, with Momoa as Lobo. Matthias Schoenaerts and Eve Ridley are also among the cast.
Alcock has played the young Rhaenyra Targaryen HBO’s House of the Dragon fort two years – a role which won her a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
The film, shooting at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, is adapted from the 2022 comic book by Tom King; Craig Gillespie directs from Ana Nogueira’s screenplay. James Gunn and Peter Safran produce for DC.
Momoa has an ongoing working relationship with DC/Warner Bros., having starred in two Aquaman films to date. He also stars in Warner Bros.’ A Minecraft Movie, due out in the spring.
