Garden Studios recognised for social responsibility and environmental performance
London’s Garden Studios has been awarded B Corp™ Certification, recognising its commitment to using business as a force for good, meeting high standards of social and environmental impact. Â
Â
The certification effectively stamps the studio facility’s aim/ability to maintain high standards of social and environmental impact, transparency, accountability, and to work towards the transformation of the global economic system.Â
Â
The process of certification is run by B Lab, a non-profit organisation; the certified status also makes a legal commitment to stakeholder governance. Certified B Corps are required to undertake the assessment and verification process every three years, demonstrating continuous improvement and commitment to B Lab’s evolving standards.

Â
Garden Studios has prioritised environmental stewardship, with robust initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint, promote energy efficiency, and support sustainability in the film and TV studio industry.
Â
Julie Hoegh, head of sustainability at Garden Studios, said: “Becoming a B Corp™ signifies our ambition to not just being the best in the world, but the best for the world.”
Â
“By aligning our business practices with our core values, we join a group of inspiring companies that lead the transformation towards a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.”
Â
“B Corp™ Certification does not mean a company is perfect, but it signifies a commitment to ongoing improvement and collective action,” added Thomas Hoegh, Garden Studios founder and CEO.
“We’re proud to join this dynamic community of forward-thinking businesses, and we humbly take the challenge to push further and drive positive changes together.”
Â
