ITV commissions Bradley Walsh show
ITV has commissioned a one-off entertainment show starring personality Bradley Walsh.
Bradley Walsh’s Late Night Guestlist will involve celebrity guests, studio comedy games and music performances from a house band, according to a Broadcast report.
Hungry Bear Media will produce the special, which will be filmed next month at the London Palladium, though a broadcast date is yet to be confirmed.
The show’s style will be similar to 2017 entertainment series The Nightly Show, which was ITV’s attempt to emulate the late-night chat show format that has been a huge success in the US for decades.
Walsh was one of the presenters involved with The Nightly Show and was the only host to return to the format before its cancellation.
The presenter is best known as the host of long-running ITV game show The Chase, but he also currently co-stars in Doctor Who for the BBC.
He also recently featured in ITV’s travelogue documentary Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad, following a US road trip he undertook with his 21-year-old son. The series found a consolidated audience of 6.3 million.
