ITV’s Grace returns to film in Brighton for Series 4
The fourth series of ITV crime drama Grace begins filming in Brighton this week (10 April), with John Simm returning as titular ‘tec DSI Roy Grace.
The hefty six-month shoot will be delivered to ITV as 4 x 120’ episodes, based on Peter James’ novels Dead Man's Time; Want You Dead; You Are Dead; Love You Dead.
Grace is a co-production between Tall Story Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Vaudeville Productions.
The executive producer for Tall Story Pictures is Patrick Schweitzer, and Andrew O'Connor and Paul Sandler for Vaudeville Productions. Writer James also executive produces alongside series producer Kieran Murray-Smith.
The writing team for Series 4 comprises Caroline Ip, Ben Court, Ed Whitmore, Jess Williams and Tony Marchant.
Grace has considerably raised Brighton’s profile as a film-friendly location. The Arundel-based Sussex Film Office, established in 2016, regularly assists on the production logistics of the show.
