Filming begins on Killing Eve Series 3
A five-month shoot has just started on the third series of Killing Eve.
The BBC’s hit thriller comes from Sid Gentle Productions and will be delivered to BBC One as an 8 x 45 series.
Created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the drama has a new female lead writer and showrunner for each season – Emerald Fennell was in place for Series 2 while British writer Suzanne Heathcote, whose credits include Fear the Walking Dead, is heading up Series 3.
The series has amassed several gongs since its inception, including three BAFTAs in 2018. Filming is based in the UK, although the story settings have meant that location filming has taken place around Europe, including Paris, Berlin, Tuscany and Bucharest.
Series 3 will also head to yet-be-confirmed locations outside the UK after the first block of filming has been completed.
Based on the Codename Villanelle novellas by Luke Jennings, the third run is executive produced by Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Gina Mingacci, Damon Thomas, Jeff Melvoin and Sandra Oh.
