The PGGB opens nominations for Inclusion Award

The award highlights the work of those creating and progressing talent inclusion within production

The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB) has opened nominations for its third annual Duke of Edinburgh Film & TV Inclusion Award.

The industry initiative was launched in 2022, and highlights the work of organisations or individuals in UK production who are helping to create and progress talent inclusion in the UK’s screen production workforce.

PGGB invites nominations from across the UK film and TV industry and nominations can be made here. The closing date for entries is Monday 24th January 2025.

The winner will be chosen by a jury led by PGGB’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

The award will be presented by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at a ceremony at The Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane on 24 March.

PGGB chair Bianca Gavin said: “We are proud to announce the return of the HRH Talent Showcase for its third year this March, celebrating the outstanding organisations and individuals championing inclusion in UK film and TV.

“These awards highlight the importance of fostering a positive, diverse working culture—values that are essential for a thriving and innovative industry. This year’s showcase will shine a light on the amazing talent making a real difference behind the scenes.”

Previous winners of The Duke of Edinburgh Film & TV Inclusion Award include 6ft From the Spotlight, which was praised for its work to improve mental health and wellbeing in the UK film and TV production workplace, and Million Youth Media, for their drive to provide talented young people from under-represented communities with the tools, opportunities and knowledge they need to thrive in film & TV.
