Production has started on Ralph Fiennes’; The Invisible Woman, the story of Charles Dickens” controversial romance with his mistress Nelly Ternan. Fiennes is both directing the film and starring as Charles Dickens.

Shooting is taking place in London and Kent until the end of June. Other cast members include Kristin Scott Thomas, Tom Hollander and Felicity Jones. The script has been written by Abi Morgan (The Iron Lady).
