3 Mills Gets Ready For London 2012 Extravaganza

As of this week, 3 Mills Studios, is owned by the Olympic Park Legacy Company, the public sector not-for-profit company responsible for the management and maintenance of the Olympic Park.

While the main role of the studios will be to act as the base for the London 2012 Ceremonies Team, the studios continue to operate as a production and rehearsal space for film, television, theatre, music and commercials.

Current and recent clients include Mark Romanek’;s Never Let Me Go, Tim Burton’;s Frankenweenie and The Deep Blue Sea, directed by Terence Davies. Additional clients include Whitechapel II (TV), Lead Balloon (TV), Waitrose commercials featuring Heston Blumenthal and Delia Smith, and music videos and rehearsals for The Black Eyed Peas, Muse, Scissor Sisters and X Factor. 3 Mills Studios offers 14 stages and around 108,000 square feet of filming space.
