The Production Guild is holding two new training courses, both at the University of Birmingham.

The first is how to be an assistant co-ordinator, aimed at those runners or production assistants based in the Midlands who want to progress their careers in film productions.

The scheme, which has financial support from Creative Skillset, runs from 11-17 April, with an additional session on 30 April for Safety Management in Film Production. Click here for more details on the course.

The second course is Runner Training, also supported by Creative Skillset, will be held from 12-13 April. The programme is designed to aid those who are breaking into the industry and will be delivered by professionals in the sector. For full details on this course, click here.
