Good Omens gears up for filming
Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens is now in pre-production with filming due to begin in late summer.
The majority of the shoot will take place in the UK with around a month in South Africa at the end. The 6 x 60 will premiere on Amazon Prime before airing on BBC Two.
It comes from Narrativia (the production company established by Pratchett in 2012 which handles rights to his works), Gaiman’s The Blank Corporation, Amazon Studios and BBC Studios.
The show, which is written by Gaiman and which began development in 2011 when Pratchett was very much involved in the process, is based on the original book published in 1990 which the pair co-wrote.
Rob Wilkins and Rod Brown of Narrativia exec produce.
