Netflix/C4 drama in pre-production
A dark, coming-of-age tale about two teenagers is being adapted for TV for delivery to Channel 4 and Netflix.
The End of the F***ing World was originally a mini-comic by Charles Forsman. Director Jonathan Entwhistle, who is well known for his work in commercials and short films, is at the helm – several years ago he also wrote and directed a short version that became the pilot episode for the same project.
Entwhistle is also among the executive producing team; the show comes from actor/writer Charlie Covell and Clerkenwell Films.
