Ab Fab director lines up next film
Mandie Fletcher (pictured), director of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, is in pre-production on her next film.
Patrick stars Beattie Edmondson as a young woman whose life is a mess. When her grandmother bequeaths Sarah a spoilt pug, Patrick, her life seems at first to be even more complicated by the new arrival, but the dog gradually starts to help Sarah turn her life around. Jennifer Saunders co-stars.
Fletcher will be calling the shots from a screenplay by Vanessa Davies, who also produces alongside Paul de Vos and Sue Latimer.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie was shot over seven weeks last autumn in London and the south of France and went to gross $37m worldwide of which nearly $21m came from the UK.
