Production is now well underway on London Fields, with the production office based at 3 Mills Studios.

The feature is a big-screen adaptation of the by Martin Amis novel first published in 1989. Perhaps not surprisingly for Amis, it is set against a backdrop of moral and social disintegration, and the looming threat of nuclear war, and is a darkly comic mystery of murder foretold told through the voice of a terminally ill American writer living in London, Samson Young.

Billy Bob Thornton is playing Young in the film, alongside co-stars Amber Heard, Jim Sturgess and Theo James. The feature comes from LA-based Muse Productions (one of many Hollywood films shooting in the UK at the moment) and is directed by Mathew Cullen, co-founder with Guillermo del Toro of creative studio Mirada.
